Privacy Policy

How Elora collects, uses, and protects your personal information.

The short version

Elora collects your email address when you sign up to the newsletter or the app waitlist. We use it to send you what you asked for. We do not sell it, share it, or use it for advertising. You can unsubscribe at any time.

What we collect

Elora collects a single piece of personal information: your email address. This happens when you:

  • Subscribe to the Elora newsletter
  • Join the app waitlist

We do not collect your name, location, IP address, or any other identifying information through these forms. If you contact us directly or submit a story for publication, we will collect whatever information you choose to provide in that message.

How we use it

Your email address is used to:

  • Send you the Elora newsletter (if you subscribed)
  • Notify you about the Elora app launch (if you joined the waitlist)

That is all. We do not use your email for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond what you signed up for. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with any third party.

Who processes your data

Your email address is stored and processed by Brevo (formerly Sendinblue), a GDPR-compliant email platform based in France. Brevo handles the storage of subscriber lists and the delivery of emails on our behalf.

You can read Brevo’s privacy policy for details on how they protect data.

Elora does not use any other third-party data processors for personal information collected through this website.

Cookies and tracking

Elora does not set advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. At present, no cookies are set beyond what is strictly necessary for the website to function.

If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and clearly describe what is being collected and why.

Children’s privacy

Elora is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with their email address, please contact us and we will delete it.

How to unsubscribe

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Clicking it will remove you from that mailing list immediately. You can also contact us directly and we will remove your address manually.

Data retention

We retain your email address for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, your address is removed from our active mailing lists. Brevo may retain a suppression record (your address marked as unsubscribed) to ensure we do not email you again.

Security

Your data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored in Brevo’s secure, GDPR-compliant infrastructure. We do not store email addresses on our own servers.
